Hi all,
As someone who has only been looking at Dengue outbreak numbers for the past six months, I really don't have a good baseline from which to talk.
However, It seems that every article I have found in these past six months or so have indicated one or two common themes.
1 The rate of infection this year is higher that in any other previous year recorded
2. The rate and quantity of deaths due to dengue is higher than previously recorded.
3. The appearance of Dengue in some places is out of season.
Has anyone else noticed these themes?
