Hi Everyone!

We are going to implement one of the other domains we own.

FluTrackers.org

It is going to be a "hard" site on a vbulletin software like FluTrackers.com.

It will be loaded with information on preparations, planning, science, interviews, etc.

All of our best material in an easy to find format.

It will be read only.

News and discussions will remain on FT.com

We hope to have this site up by the end of August.

If you are interested in being on the team that loads this site, please private message me.


....And remember.....there is only 1 FluTrackers.

I am pleased to announce that we have enough volunteers to open .org in English, French, and Italian.

We have purchased the vbulletin for 180$ USD and are going to hire a different server company so that we spread the risk in case of an outage. We will start with the least expensive plan of 6.95$ per month while we are loading the site. As with FT, we will increase server capacity as traffic increases.

We are asking for someone to donate 187$ USD to FT for this expense.

We received 287$ USD.

We spent 180$ on the vbulletin and decided on a one year shared server plan @7.95$ per month instead of the 6.95$ one. The total expense was 276$ USD. Since we received more than 187$ we selected the 1 year plan and now we are paid for a year in advance (unless we have huge traffic and have to upgrade).

Sally is in the control panel and will upload the software and set up the site so we can start shaping it.
