    Sarajevo. First case of deadly A (H1N1) was confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reported by the Institute of Microbiology in Sarajevo.

    Deceased was 40-year-old man in hospital in the southern city of Mostar, RIA Novosti.

    Recent evidence the Bosnian Ministry of Health, the country recorded 163 new cases of influenza virus.

    Last week the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the number of those infected with A (H1N1) in the world exceeds 503 500 people. Deaths are at least 6200 people.

    Another death linked to the swine flu in BiH

    In Bosnia and Herzegovina took a second death due to complications caused by new influenza virus H1N1, announced Friday, local media in this country.

    As Bosnia brought Radio 1, in Bosanska Krupa on Thursday died 56-year-old woman who is half weeks there was a doctor in a health center. Sent to the hospital in Bihac, where her quick test confirmed the suspicion caused by the influenza virus H1N1. With therapy, he was discharged to home treatment, but her condition deteriorated and she died on the way to hospital.

    In the course of the autopsy, which should finally confirm that the woman died from complications caused by new influenza virus. There is no confirmation that it belonged to one of the subject risk groups for flu complications. This month of a new flu in hospital in Mostar died and 44-year-old man.

    The total number of patients from the new flu in Bosnia and Herzegovina is still relatively small in comparison with neighboring countries. According to data held by the entity institutes for public health, H1N1 virus infection was confirmed in more than 500 people.
