(AP) ? DOVER, Del. - Delaware health officials are asking doctors who help them track the flu for more specimens from their patients.
Officials with the state's Division of Public Health said Thursday that they want the specimens to see how much seasonal flu is in Delaware, if it is present at all.
Division Director Dr. Karyl Rattay says influenza activity has been lower in recent weeks and the number of specimens coming in has also been lower.

Health experts say the seasonal flu is being crowded out by the swine flu and mass vaccination campaigns.
In Delaware, there have been only three confirmed cases of seasonal flu and 1,966 confirmed cases of swine flu since the flu season began in early October.
