Influenza belts streching over Europe ?

Looking at latest figures of Europe's fatal cases - see table as of 28 December here http://www.flutrackers.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=135087
(scroll down page) reveals some very interesting findings :

Middle part of Europe (centre) has far less fatalities per million inhabitants than the rest of Europe

Southern England (with London as the exception), over the Channel to France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria and Northern Italy forms a continuous macro area with the lowest scores when it comes to death rate

    Influenza belts ?

All 'corners' of Europe have far more fatal H1N1 cases than the centre (middle part)

A 'southern belt' streches from Iberian Peninsula over to Malta, Southern Italy, and continues to Balkans and Greece

A 'northern belt' streches from Ireland over to Wales, continues to Northern England and Scotland, Norway, Finland, Baltic countries and into Russia

    Findings look striking
