    163 cases of H1N1 confirmed by lab. analysis in Georgia.

    Laboratory analysis have confirmed 163 cases of H1N1 virus, however, doctors predict that the number of the patents with grave respiratory problems will grow in February.

    Over one hundred patients with respiratory problems and the symptoms of the viral infection have been hospitalized to the Tbilisi Hospital of Infection Diseases.

    The experts of the national centre of disease control say the statistics give no ground to worry about pandemics.

    180 cases of H1N1 virus revealed in Georgia

    About 180 laboratory confirmed cases of H1N1 virus of so-called swine flu have been detected in Georgia for the time being.

    Nine people died of the virus in January.

    Four infected children are undergoing treatment at Iashvili Children?s Clinic in Tbilisi.
    The health condition of them remains stable.

    24 cases of H1N1 and 8 cases of ?B? type of virus confirmed at Iashvili Children?s Clinic during January.

    8 infected patients are placed at Ghudushauri Hospital.

    According to Disease Control Center, there is no threat of pandemic. Doctors recommend patients for being alert and careful and apply to medical institutions as soon as first symptoms of virus are revealed.
