Another Hungarian has succumbed to the H1N1 flu virus. The man, who it is reported was never vaccinated against the aggressive strain of flu, was from Zala county in the far west of the country.
According to the Zala hospital which treated him, the man was aged between 35-59 years of age, and was admitted for treatment suffering from flu-like symptoms. He was one of four Zala residents who sought treatment for the infection within the last week. Of the other three, one remains in intensive care while another is currently on a ventilator to facilitate his breathing.
Until the last week, the State Public Health Service had registered 25 deaths across the country due to the H1N1 virus.
