    BRANDON ? The first principal of Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon, Richard Hollis Breen, died Tuesday from a five-day illness brought on by eastern equine encephalitis.

      Second Vermonter dead from mosquito-borne EEE
      The Vermont Health Department confirmed late today that a second Vermonter is dead from Eastern Equine Encephalitis. A 49-year-old Sudbury man died of the mosquito-borne illness within the last few days.
