No new pediatric deaths; total 1 375 new hospitalizations; total 760 (Because of time constraints, the recent surge of hospitalizations we were not able to break down the totals by age and subtype. As of Friday 1/4/12 there have been a total of 760 flu associated hospitalizations since Oct 1, 2012. During the entire 2011-2012 influenza season there were a total of 389 flu associated hospitalizations.)
