Dallas mother says son died 11/30/2012 after flu diagnosis (Documented as type B at hospital)- Confirmed

They sought care at the hospital the night before. He died in the waiting room of their family doctor the next morning at 7:30 am.

The official cause of death is pending even though he died in late November. The Dallas ME office said it may take until February to determine the cause of death - "if ever."

DALLAS — The mother of a six-year-old boy who died in November said he was diagnosed with the flu by Children’s Medical Center Dallas practitioners the night before he died.

Cell phone video taken just hours before Adam Lucero passed away shows the sick little boy writhing in pain, beseeching his mother.

DCHHS Confirms Deaths Of Two 6-Year-Olds Were Flu-Related

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Officials with the Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) confirmed Thursday that two six-year-olds died from flu complications.

The health department announced that the November death of a six year old boy was flu-related. There’s no word on why the confirmation took so long...
