    MONTREAL ? Two new cases of the respiratory illness Legionnaires? disease have been diagnosed recently in Quebec City.

    The Quebec City public health department has not divulged either the location or the ages of the patients who have been recently diagnosed with the ailment.

    ?We have to find out where these people went, their movements and if there are any common threads,? said Marianne Potvin, with the Quebec City public health department.

    ?We don?t know a lot just now. We have just started the inquiry, but there is no reason for alarm. These are isolated cases and some come up every year.?

    Potvin said neither of the current cases are life-threatening.

    Not so the case last summer, when there were 181 cases of the illness and 13 deaths attributed to the water-borne disease in the provincial capital.
