Youre right, of course, mingus. and it begs the question- over the last year or so, how many of the negatives that were never autposied and further tested really had H5N1? Due to that, IMHO; the infection rate and death toll is larger than the WHO numbers suggest.
We need these sequences. Badly. I hope we're doing something to get them. I realize the phrase is probably patented to Dr Niman,
but this cluster really is a "cause for concern", and we need to find out RTFN if the virus has changed or if the cluster is due to some unusual B2H transmission route.
The opportunities for the virus to meet and greet others just keeps growing.
