Panama with 457 cases of the virus A (H1N1)

06 July 2009, 21:38 Panama, July 6 (PL) The situation of the virus A (H1N1) today show a total of 457 counted from the positive detection of the first case, to an increase of 15 with respect to previous reports (2 July).
According to reports from the Ministry of Health, 241 are males and 216 to the ladies, while 97 are between 20 and 49 years of age.
Also, 286 positives were detected in less than 15 years, while in the group of 15 to 19 years there have been 62 cases and 12 of the 50 years and older.
In seven regions, including the indigenous regions, there is still no evidence about the movement of that of influenza A virus (H1N1).
However, there is increased sampling in these areas to suspected cases of the disease or patients with influenza.
Of the 457 confirmed cases have been given the high epidemiological 402 patients (88 percent), which have been returned to their daily lives.
