Міністерство охорони здоров’я закликає громадян при перших ознаках застуди звертатися за кваліфікованою медичною допомогою. Про це повідомив Міністр охорони здоров’я Василь Князевич сьогодні на брифінгу.
Василь Князевич зауважив, в Тернопільській області що вперше за останні 20 років спостерігається такі масові захворювання на гострі респіраторні інфекції (ГРІ).
Міністр повідомив, що станом на сьогодні в області померло 9 осіб з діагнозом пневмонія; 95 осіб госпіталізовано, стан 25-и з них оцінюється як важкий, і хворі знаходяться на керованому диханні (17 дорослих і 9 дітей) з попереднім діагнозом вірусна пневмонія.
У той же час, за словами Василя Князевича, захворювання «каліфорнійським грипом» А(H1N1) не підтверджується.
Керівник відомства додав, що на сьогодні Міністерство разом з НАН України встановлюють остаточну причину захворювання.
За словами Міністра, на даний момент в Тернопільській області працює група науковців з Центру грипу, Інституту інфекційних захворювань ім. Л.В.Громашевського, Санітарно-епідеміологічної служби Києва. Міністр зауважив, що з понеділка це питання знаходиться під особистим контролем головного санітарного лікаря країни.
Василь Князевич додав, що поріг захворювання починає підніматися і в інших західних областях країни – Івано-Франківській, Львівській.
«Ми взяли ситуацію під контроль. Найголовніше, звертаюся до всіх: почуваєте себе хворим – зверніться до лікаря. Найголовніше – своєчасно виявити і надати допомогу», - наголосив Василь Князевич та додав, що для цього є усі необхідні ресурси. За словами Міністра, трагічні випадки в Тернопільській області здебільшого спричинені саме несвоєчасним зверненням хворих до лікарів.

He said that 95 people were taken to hospitals in Ternopil region since October 13, of them 25 in grave condition and 10 of them died.
In Ivano-Frankivsk region 25 people were taken to hospitals for the same period, seven in grave condition, six died.
In Lviv region 6 patients were taken to hospitals since October 1, of them two in grave condition, four died.

I still think this has to be H1N1, but here is a denial. This one seems to think there is some other virus with 95 cases and nine deaths (which would not be influenza at all, likely). We must watch this closely...
