Summary evaluation of the epidemiological situation
This influenza monthly report ends the summer season and therefore the monthly reporting cycle.
As of 10.10.2012 the influenza report AGI reappears weekly.
The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) was nationwide in the period from the 36th to the 39th KW 2012 a total on a seasonal normal, low level. The values of the index practice are located in all regions of AGI in the background activity.
The National Reference Centre for Influenza (NRZ) were between the 36th and the 39th KW 2012 in Framework of the Sentinel examined 18 incurred samples. During the reporting period, neither influenza nor Respiratory syncytial virus detected.
For the 36th to 39 Reporting week nationwide eight clinical-laboratory-confirmed influenza illness of Infection Protection Act (IfSG) and reported to the RKI transmitted (data 02.10.2012).
