H1N1 Claims Life of 31-Year-Old Woman

A 31-year-old woman has become the latest victim of the H1N1 virus in Southern Nevada. According to the Southern Nevada Health District, the woman didn't have any underlying medical conditions and died last week. She is the 12th Clark County resident to die.

The H1N1 flu has claimed the life of a 31-year-old woman with no underlying medical conditions, according to the Southern Nevada Health District. She was visiting from New York. That makes 12 people that have died due to the virus in our valley. Since October, officials have tallied 361 cases H1N1 here. The health district has an express flu mist lane open today for only certain people in high risk groups. It has 49,000 doses available but only 7,000 people have taken advantage of the free vaccine.
