In a week will be the second batch of vaccines

Miguel Betancourt Cravioto, Director of Prevention and Health Protection in the State, said the health sector of Yucatan "is ready" to cover the first phase of vaccination against influenza A H1N1, for which sufficient material is available.
This stage corresponds to the first batch of vaccines that receives Yucatan, which is actually 23.500, not 7.500 as published yesterday. The latter figure is only receiving health services.
The Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) has nine thousand doses, and the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), with seven thousand.
The second batch will be received on December 7.
Yesterday the first doses were applied, which are aimed at medical and nursing staff as well as women who have more than three months pregnant.
Cano Guadalupe Pech Landy became the first woman pregnant which was applied biology. It was followed by nurses and doctors.
Dr. Betancourt stressed that this first batch is allocated to staff who have direct contact with patients.
With the second batch will immunize children under five years old, caregivers for children and elderly people.
