Prosecutor: Suspect detained in Luhansk hospital explosion

As reported, an oxygen tank blew up at the five-storey building of Luhansk City Hospital No. 7 at around 0900 on Monday. There were 366 people (261 patients and 105 hospital employees) in the hospital at the time of the explosion.

The Emergencies Minister said that six people were rescued from the debris, and the bodies of another eight people were found. Eight people could still be trapped under the collapsed hospital.

The Prosecutor's Office of Luhansk region launched criminal proceedings into the explosion.
