209 more under home quarantine in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 27: Adding to the growing concern over the spread of H1N1 influenza, 209 more patients were placed under home quarantine in Kerala today.

According to state H1N1 Control Room, 14 people were also placed under hospital qarantine and two under ICU.

The throat swabs of 22 patients were sent for laboratory test, it said.

Many patients have been complaining about H1N1 like symptoms.

The families of those who have been confirmed for the flu have been quarantined, the Health Department
sources said.

H1N1: 243 more under home quarantine in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 30 : Adding to the growing concern over the spread of H1N1 influenza, 243 more people were placed under home quarantine in Kerala today.


According to state H1N1 Control Room here, ten more were placed under Hospital Quarantine.

The throat swabs of 14 patients were sent for laboratory test
, it added.

H1N1: 142 more under home quarantine in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 1 : Adding to the growing concern over the spread of H1N1 influenza, 142 more peoplewere placed under Home Quarantine in Kerala today.

According to state H1N1 Control Room here, the throat swabs of six patients were sent for laboratory test.

About 39 more were placed under Hospital Quarantine, it
said.

People Quarantined in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 29: Though the Health Department is trying to control the spread of H1N1, a large number of people are being placed under Hospital or House Quarantine in Kerala.
According to H1N1 Control Room Cell here, 79 more patients were placed under Home Quarantine today in various places .

Nine more were placed under Hospital Quarantine and throat swabs of as many have been sent for lab test, the release said.
