Bureau of Epidemiology, Disease Control Department, Ministry of Public Health (Sh.), reveals a new situation influenza type A H1N1 strain since 1 January -11 December (2010) have died of confirmed influenza type A (H1N1 2009. ) increase of 143 cases from the previous six cases resulting in total cumulative deaths confirmed influenza type A H1N1 from (April 28 2009 to Dec 2010), moved to add the 340 (fatal) cases.
The flu situation as a whole has decreased from mid October onwards by 53 in Week 49 (5-11 Dec 2010) showed that patients with flu-like symptoms in a hospital rather stable. and similar ratios based on 5%, while the detection of influenza virus as a whole rather stable as well.
However, still need to monitor the situation in different areas. Especially the South and a cold zone. It might be early season outbreak in the dry season when the weather is quite cold at some point.
The number of patients with influenza cumulative 110,815 cases of laboratory tests was infected with influenza, such as influenza type A (H1N1 2009) of 16,397 cases, type A (H1) of 164 samples, type A (H3) of 133 cases,. Type A N strains 5400 cases, type B 1,955 cases and no results of laboratory 86,766 cases, while the number of deaths accumulated 168 cases who died confirmed influenza type A (H1N1 2009) of 143 cases.
