Cold wave kills eight in southern Nepal
Eight more deaths from a cold wave in southern Nepal brought the toll to 42 in less than two weeks, police said yesterday.
Police said seven people were reported dead on Tuesday, and one more yesterday.

The Himalayan Times PARSA: A youth died of shivering with cold in Banjari toll of Tulasibarba Village Development Committee (VDC) of Parsa on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Chhotelal Saha Teli, 32, of the VDC.

The Himalayan Times -BARDIBAS: A senior citizen aged 80 died on Thursday morning in Mahottari district due to cold. With this, the death toll from the cold wave has reached six in the district.
