The number of patients diagnosed with the flu is on the increase both in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and in Republika Srpska, but the data of relevant ministries show that there is no reason for the country to declare an epidemic.

The A H1N1 virus has claimed another victim in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).

According to a release, one more patient died of the flu in the Bihac hospital, while the life of another one is in serious danger.

During the month, two cases of A H1N1 have been registered in Sarajevo, one in Tuzla and another one in Banja Luka.

Bosnian health officials have confirmed that a man who died on Thursday was infected with the H1N1 virus. The 42-year-old from the western town of Kljuc is the sixth person infected with the virus to have died in Bosnia in the past couple of months.
