    In Serbia, have been dead 22 people in whom influenza virus was detected, while nine patients in serious condition and are in intensive care units, announced today the Institute of Public Health of Serbia 'Batut'.

    When the deceased, with 21 people confirmed by the pandemic influenza virus type A (H1N1), and in one individual influenza virus type A.




    It is about people aged three to 74 years, including one person with unknown vaccination status and 21 persons were non-vaccinated. Fifteen deaths belonged to the population groups at high risk (chronic lung, heart, kidneys, diabetes, chronic neurological disorders and severe obesity).

    Deceased persons from the territory of Belgrade, South-Banat, Morava, Pčinj, Danube, Nis, Pirot, Shumadians, Northern-, Srem and South Backa District. In Serbia, a registered 212 laboratory confirmed cases of illness from the flu. In 180 persons has been confirmed pandemic influenza virus type A (H1N1) in 21 persons influenza virus type A (H3N2), with two people influenza virus type A and the nine influenza virus type B
