A husband told a court how his wife died from swine flu just seven days after doctors insisted she had no more than a viral infection.
Rodger Winsborough, from Kelty, Fife, said his wife Joanne was sent home from her local GP?s practice and told to take paracetamol and ibruprofen.
When she did not believe that advice she went to hospital, where doctors also dismissed her condition.
Mrs Winsborough, 34, a mother-of-two, started feeling ill on Friday 10 April, 2009. She died the following Friday .
Mr Winsborough, 35, told the court on Monday: "I couldn't believe that a woman who was fit seven days before was dead. I couldn't get my head around it. Seven days before she was fine."
