WSU student dies from Influenza A virus

A 22-year-old Greene County woman died Tuesday at Kettering Medical Center after being hospitalized for four days with the Influenza A virus, according to the Greene County Combined Health District.

Public health officials are still investigating the flu-related death of Amelia Catherine Perry of Fairborn for possible contributing health conditions, but the woman appeared otherwise healthy, said Sara Pappa, spokeswoman for the Greene County health department. The Montgomery County Coroner?s office confirmed this afternoon Perry?s death...
