Denmark, ILI stable, but positive samples up a lot :
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...Denmark&type=c
historically I'd expect it to go much higher:
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...k=52&type=hist

England, ILI going down :
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...England&type=c
historical: (rarely double-peaks)
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...k=52&type=hist

Ireland ILI still going up:
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...Ireland&type=c

Northern Ireland, ILI going up, but positive samples down (?)
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...Ireland&type=c

Scotland up:
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...cotland&type=c

Wales unclear:
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...n=Wales&type=c

Spain , ILI up, positives stable?
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...n=Spain&type=c

Belgium loos close to the peak
http://www.euroflu.org/cgi-files/fig...Belgium&type=c

Googe flutrends showing flu going up strongly in:

Norway

Belgium

France

Netherlands

Spain

UK, Ireland and Danmark and Portugal don't participate, however other sources indicate high flu levels in these countries currently.

The flu seems to roll from West to East through Europe.

it also comes from East, via Russia.

But the question is : do we already have the peak in England
(and Denmark..) and thus a good estimate what expects us
in the rest of Europe or will it still go higher ?

week 2:

http://magictour.free.fr/panflu/eue2.JPG

Germany,France,Austria only give ARI (acute respiratory ifection)
not ILI (influenza like illness)
ARI includes colds and RSV (respiratory syncythial virus) and asthma etc.

apparantly it goes West --> East this season, Western Europe gets it first,
Middle+Eastern Europe ~3-5 weeks later

comparing with 2003/4

which was also a severe, early flu-season in USA and worldwide
with the dominance of the H3N2-Fujian strain
