Deux personnes atteintes de grippe aviaire dans le sud-ouest de la Chine
Deux personnes de la ville de Guiyang, capitale de la province chinoise du Guizhou (sud-ouest), ont été infectées par le virus de la grippe aviaire, ont confirmé dimanche les autorités locales de la santé.

Deux cas humains de grippe aviaire rapportés en Chine
HONG KONG, 11 fév. (Yonhap) -- Deux cas humains avérés de grippe aviaire ont été rapportés en Chine pour la première fois cette année, ont fait savoir des responsables ce lundi, une annonce alarmante dans la mesure où des millions de Chinois se déplacent cette semaine à l'occasion des congés du Nouvel An lunaire.
Une jeune femme de 21 ans et un homme de 31 ans ont réagi positivement ce dimanche au test de dépistage du virus de la grippe A (H5N1), dans la ville de Guizhou au sud-ouest de la Chine, ont rapporté des responsables médicaux sur place.
Selon les autorités, les deux patients se trouvent désormais dans un état critique.
«Les deux patients n'ont pas rapporté d'exposition particulière à de la volaille avant l'apparation des symptômes. Il n’existe aucun lien épidémiologique entre les deux cas», a déclaré le porte-parole du ministère de la santé.

Ces deux récents cas semblent préoccuper sérieusement les autorités du pays le plus peuplé du monde, qui connaît cette semaine l’une des plus fortes affluences de touristes domestiques de l’année.

Mort d'une malade de la grippe H5N1 dans le sud-ouest de la Chine
L'une des deux personnes ayant contracté la grippe H5N1, selon les confirmations du ministère chinois de la Santé, est morte mercredi matin dans un hôpital de la ville de Guiyang (sud-ouest).
La malade âgée de 21 ans, est décédée de la défaillance de multiples organes mercredi à 09H41 à l'Hôpital populaire de la province du Guizhou.

Des experts en contrôle de l'épidémie n'ont trouvé aucune piste permettant de certifier que les malades avaient été en contact étroit avec des oiseaux, ni aucun lien épidémiologique entre les deux cas.
Ceux qui ont eu des contacts étroits avec les deux malades ont été placés sous observation médicale.

Deux habitants de la capitale provinciale de Guiyang ont été testés positifs au virus H5N1 le 8 février. Les autorités de la santé ont alors placé en quarantaine 110 personnes qui avaient été en contact direct avec les deux patients, selon le Bureau de réponse d'urgence du gouvernement provincial.
N'ayant présenté aucun symptôme anormal, les 110 personnes ont été autorisées à sortir de quarantaine.
L'un des deux patients, une femme de 21 ans, est décédé des suites d'une défaillance multiviscérale mercredi. L'autre patient, un homme de 31 ans, est toujours hospitalisé.

Grippe aviaire: un deuxième mort dans le sud-ouest de la Chine
AFP - Un homme de 31 ans est mort du virus H5N1 de la grippe aviaire dans un hôpital à Guiyang, a rapporté le département de la Santé de la province du Guizhou (sud-ouest), neuf jours après le décès d'une femme âgée de 21 ans de la même maladie.
Décédé vendredi, Cai Rushan était tombé malade le 3 février et avait été admis à l'hôpital Jinyang de la ville cinq jours plus tard alors que son état s'aggravait. Le 10 février, le diagnostic établissait qu'il avait contracté le virus H5N1.
"Actuellement, aucun nouveau cas humain de grippe aviaire n'a été signalé dans toute la province", selon un communiqué du département de la Santé diffusé vendredi soir.
Les enquêteurs ont établi que les deux malades avaient eu des "contacts rapprochés" avec des volailles, selon l'agence Chine nouvelle...
