Iraq: 11 People Died Due to Epidemic Flu

" Federal Minister of Health, Majeed Hama Amin announced on Wednesday, that the number of infections with epidemic flu is less than 500 infections as 11 of them died in all provinces of the country, with the exception of Iraq which is the less countries infected by the epidemic, while the Health parliamentary Committee confirmed that the disease is under control.
Amin said in a joint news conference with the parliamentary Health and Environment Commission held in the parliament and attended by "Shafaq News" that "the number of casualties with seasonal epidemic flu in the general of the country was less than 500 and the number of deaths was only 11 cases."
He added that "Iraq is the least number of casualties affected in the world and the region in particular as four deaths occurred at the beginning of the epidemic and it was something new for Iraq," noting that "the number of casualties continues to decline and all the requirements of treatment are available."
The Minister of Health said that "Iraq is the only country that did not keep quiet about the epidemic compared to the number of casualties in the different countries of the world and in the Middle East and North Africa."
From her part, the head of the parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Leqaa Al- Yassin said at the conference that "the epidemic is under control and is declining."...".

"The parliamentary Health and Environment Committee revealed on Saturday, three deaths by epidemic flu in Basra and indicated the presence of nine suspected cases.
The MP of Basra provincial council and a member of the parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Jawad Al-Bazont told "Shafaq News", that "according to information received to us there are three deaths in Basra due to epidemic flu and there are nine suspected cases."
