CORPUS CHRISTI - Gregory-Portland ISD has confirmed eight students were sent home within the past week for the chicken pox.

All eight students were vaccinated, but according to San Patricio County health authority Dr. James Mobley, it's not unheard of for vaccinated children to still get chicken pox...
