1. On 8th December 2009, 15396 passengers have been screened at 11 Airports with 37 counters manned by

100 doctors and 54 paramedics. Total passengers screened till date is 9772593.

2. Till date, samples from 93569 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories

And a few private Laboratories across the country and 20590 (22.0%) of them have been found positive.

3. Of the 277 cases reported during the day four are having history of foreign travel and rest are indigenous

Cases.

4. Four deaths (Rajasthan-2, Maharashtra-1 and Delhi-1) have been reported during the day.

5. Reports of eight earlier deaths (Chandigarh-4,Rajasthan-2 ,Punjab-1 and Maharashtra-1)) have been

received from the health authorities of the respective states and are reflected in the cumulative total.

3. Of the 339 cases reported during the day five are having history of foreign travel and rest are indigenous Cases.

4. Five deaths from Rajasthan have been reported during the day.

3. Out of the 272 cases reported during the day three cases are having history of foreign travel and rest are indigenous cases.

4. Six deaths (Maharashtra-3, Delhi-1, Haryana-1 and Rajasthan-1) have been reported during the day.
