وأضاف المحجوب أنه يتم إعدام الطيور المصابة والمخالطة فوراً، وفقاً للقواعد الصحية وتطهير المزرعة وأماكن التربية بعد التخلص الصحى من مخلفات الدواجن التى تم إعدامها، مشيراً إلى أنه يتم تفقد مزارع الدواجن، ومتابعة الأجهزة المحلية لرصد المرض بهدف الاكتشاف المبكر لأى حالة اشتباه أو إصابة بالمرض، مؤكداً عمل غرفة عمليات على مدار ٢٤ ساعة.
