FluTrackers Confirmed U.S. Deaths - July 13 - July 31
oh .... hmm okay then. Well if you'd like to help out with the tracking you can do anything that appeals to you. If you'd like to adopt a "region" of the U.S. to monitor that would be excellent, we could split it up between us. It is a pretty big job for one person.
By the way, anyone else reading this thread who wants to help, this invitation is for you too!

LaidbackAl has established an online database that will allow all of us to enter case information and then sort it any way we want to, as well as generating summary tables, graphs, etc. We need people to take different states or countries and enter the data, but we need to assign a given state/country to only one person so we don't have duplicate entries. If you're interested, contact Al by PM and he can send you an invitation that will grant you access to the database.

Suspected Deaths are now being tracked by pflu in a new thread, found here.
I have been trying to find local reports w/o any luck. To get an accurate count this week we really need updated totals from the city. There were 9 new deaths reported in their last update so I can't believe there have not been any over the last week. Nevertheless, I have not seen any reports from the regular media.
The CDC has released their totals for this week. They are reporting lower number than we are as usual, with one exception. The CDC is reporting 24 deaths in Texas and we only show 23.
Overall the CDC is reporting 52 new deaths from 7/10 to 7/17. That is the highest one week increase since the outbreak began.
