BLOODIED CHILDREN LEAVE SCHOOL
Vance said the shootings took place in two rooms of Sandy Hook Elementary School, which teaches children from kindergarten through fourth grade, roughly ages 5 to 10.
Witnesses reported hearing dozens of shots; some said as many as 100 rounds.
On the ABC live news stream, a realtor from Newtown who lived close to the family/in the neighborhood stated he had Asperger's and emotional disorders and this was according to the deceased mother.
She also stated the mother was "strict" and that this was a source of issues between the mother and son.
"School shootings are always incomprehensible and horrific tragedies. But words fail to describe today's heartbreaking and savage attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School. As the father of two children in elementary school, I can barely imagine the anguish and losses suffered today by the Newtown community.
"Our hearts and prayers go out to every parent, child, teacher, staff member, and administrator at Sandy Hook and the surrounding community. And our thanks go out to every teacher, staff member, and first responder who cared for, comforted, and protected children from harm, often at risk to themselves. We will do everything in our power to assist and support the healing and recovery of Newtown."
Fox News TV is reporting that both Ryan Lanza and his father are both alive and talking to police. They believe Adam killed his mother at the house where they both lived, then went to the school and carried out this massacre.
?When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ?Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.? To this day, especially in times of ?disaster,? I remember my mother?s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers ? so many caring people in this world.? - Mr. Rogers
Vigils, prayers, heartfelt sympathies and love to all the families of the victims. Sadly gun control will be an issue for some time to come, but most of us know we shouldn't be selling assault and automatic weapons to the general public. Bless one and all. Children subjected to this sort of suffering is an all too common part of our history. Rest in Peace

In his short time here in Winnipeg, he simply wowed the local music community with his playing. We listened with awe and understanding as he drew us clearly and expertly into the higher realms of jazz. And the whole town came to know about his playing and his family through the local Jazz publication, DIG, that was started by Steve Kirby.
He also spoke to nearly every high school jazz student in Winnipeg, in both a technical and spiritual manner. For example, in this piece which he wrote, the connection between transcribing, singing and playing is a concept Jamie Aebersold talked about decades ago; yet, Jimmy Greene articulates the concept, extends it, and teaches it far more effectively than ever heard before. He gives us hope that everyone can follow a process to learn the fine art of jazz:
Perhaps that's one more reason why every musician-related family in this town has been crying. A nightmare for every parent, but also the loss of hope of what this child would have become growing up in a household with such musical, educational and spiritual brilliance.
