    Local media reports today four person is infected with swine flu or H1N1 virus in remote western province of Mongolia.According to the report, 9 people with suspected symptoms of the flu were discovered by the central hospital of the Bayan-Ulgii province in most western tip of Mongolia and the test conducted by the National center for infectious diseases confirmed that 4 of them is sick with influenza A (H1N1) type virus.The 4 infected people includes 2 women and 2 infants.
    National Emergency Management Authority of Mongolia issued decision to impose 1 week quarantine in the pronvincial capital.Schools are closed and no public events are to be held under this quarantine regime.Enditem.

    Swine flu infects 4 in western Mongolia



    ULAN BATOR, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian health officials confirmed that four people have been infected with the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu, in a remote western province, local media reported.

    Nine people with suspected symptoms of the flu were discovered by a hospital in Bayan-Ulgii province, and four of them have tested positive for H1N1, said the report.

    The confirmed cases involved two women and two infants.

    The National Emergency Management Authority has decided to impose a week-long quarantine in the provincial capital, where schools will be closed and no public events are allowed to be held during this period.
