Health authorities continue surveillance to detect cases of human influenza A/H1N1. To date, 127 cases have been confirmed positive to the virus, after having sent a more yesterday by the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (Indre), which was negative.
It continues with the recommendation to pay attention to those who presented symptoms of respiratory disease due to the presence of influenza virus in the state, which can be confused with common cold or flu.
And if so, it is necessary to transfer the patient to the nearest health unit to rule out that it is the influenza virus and the doctor will give you the proper treatment. Notably, the importance of self is not as it might affect your health.
Yesterday, the INDRE reported a processed sample, which was negative for influenza A/H1N1 virus. This will keep the 127 cases confirmed in Michoac?n.
In total, have been confirmed by the 127 positive cases INDRE to A/H1N1 in Michoacan, a total of 477 tests that have been processed.
In the laboratories during the day other 72 samples were processed, of which seven were positive for Influenza A. The distribution of municipalities is: Uruapan, Zamora, Los Reyes, Morelia and La Huacana. They were referred to as INDRE for confirmation.
In short, they are 2 thousand 690 samples processed, of which 416 have proved positive influenza A.
