TEHRAN, Oct. 14 (Mehr News Agency) ? The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that three more persons have died of swine flu virus over the last week, bringing the number of patients who have died so far of the H1N1 disease to 10 in the country.

The Health Ministry also announced that the number of patients diagnosed with N1H1 virus has jumped from 476 to 649 over the last few days.

Just over the last few days 173 new cases of swine flu diseases have been reported in the country, said Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Gooya, the director of the center for infectious diseases.

Dr. Gooya said this increase has been mostly noticed among students in certain cities.

The ministry official added the three persons who have died of the disease in the recent days were a pregnant woman, an 11-month kid, and a three-year old baby. He said all the three died under treatment.

He said so far no student has died of the disease. He advised parents not to send their children to school as soon as they notice signs of the disease.

"In case of being infected with the disease, Students must rest at home and go back to school after full recovery," Gooya insisted. http://www.payvand.com/news/09/oct/1146.html
