    STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Staten Islanders getting short shrift from the city usually involves a bruised ego.
    But this time, it may be hazardous to your health.
    Uninsured borough residents will not be able to obtain free flu shots on Staten Island from the city Health Department this season because of renovations to its St. George clinic.
    And the city appears indifferent about leaving Islanders in the lurch -- again..

    Flu shot information - The city Health and Hospitals Corporation is offering flu shots, along with blood pressure, HIV, hearing and vision screenings, this month as part of its Time To Take Care New York Campaign.
    The dates are: Oct. 14 -- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mariners Harbor Family Health Center, 2040 Forest Ave.
    Oct. 18 -- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a mobile medical office at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 7558 Amboy Rd., Tottenville.
    Oct. 27 -- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a mobile medical office at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 225 St. Paul's Ave., Stapleton.
