Two more die of H1N1 in Gaza as toll reaches 10
Published today (updated) 13/12/2009 15:09 Gaza ? Ma?an ? Two more Palestinians have died in Gaza from the H1N1 virus, bringing the death toll to 10 the undersecretary of the de facto government?s Ministry of Health, Hassan Khalaf, said on Sunday.
During a telephone interview with Ma?an, Khalaf reported that one of the deceased patients suffered from cardiac problems and the second was suffering from venereal disease in addition to swine flu.
Khalaf added that 67 cases of swine flu have been diagnosed in the Gaza Strip, of which 37 have finished undergoing treatment and have been cleared by doctors.
Khalaf renewed his calls to the World Health Organization (WHO) to provide the Gaza Strip with needed H1N1 vaccines.
