PR plans 1st swine flu vaccinations for next week

(AP) ? SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Puerto Rico is kicking off a campaign to immunize islanders against swine flu.
Gov. Luis Fortuno and Health Secretary Lorenzo Gonzalez said Monday the U.S. territory of nearly 4 million inhabitants expects to receive up to 2.5 million doses of the vaccine from the federal government.
Puerto Rico will dispense 65,000 doses to emergency workers next week.
Vaccination will expand on Nov. 6, with priority for high-risk groups such as pregnant women, the elderly and youngsters. Public and private vaccination centers will distribute the doses.
The island has confirmed 638 swine flu cases and 37 deaths
