H1N1 closes NKY high school

ALEXANDRIA - Bishop Brossart High School plans to close the school the rest of the week in hopes of stopping the spread of the H1N1 virus.
According to a letter from Principal Richard Stewart on the school's Web site, the school will be closed Tuesday through Friday. During the closure, teacher will post assignments on the school's Web site.
All school activities and sports have also been canceled. School officials plan to reassess the situation Friday with the Northern Kentucky Health Department.
Last week, the school canceled a football game in Elizabethtown after a Bishop Brossart football player was diagnosed with a confirmed case of H1N1.
