Between 9/1/2009 and 4/24/2010, 389 influenza-associated hospitalizations were reported in Idaho; 46.5% were male, 53.5% were female and the median age was 32 years (range: <1–87 years).
One new case reported last week; total 831 laboratory-confirmed H1N1 cases have been reported in Idaho; 57% were female, 43% were male, and the median age of all case reports was 22 years (range: 1 month?96 years). An additional 340 confirmed 2009 H1N1 cases were reported in Idaho prior to September 1, 2009.
