Experts devise easy test for 'Guangdong cancer'

Hong Kong and Canadian researchers have devised a new and simple test for the so-called "Guangdong cancer."
They said the test, which involves the use of a biopsy brush, can detect nasopharyngeal cancer - which is prevalent in Hong Kong and south China - at a much earlier stage.
According to the Hong Kong Cancer Registry, 862 new cases of nasopharyngeal cancer were recorded in 2011, ranking it the seventh most prevalent cancer in the territory...
