    Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Care (SSA), Orlando Uscanga Mu?oz, said they expect that during the winter season has been a significant increase in respiratory diseases by 15 to 20 percent.

    Among the diseases expected to increase the number of cases, are the flu, both seasonal H1N1 and H3N2, said.

    "Right now we do not have a significant increase, but we know that we as the days go increases in respiratory infections, we hope to increase between 15 and 20 percent," he said.

    Interviewed in the delivery of maintenance to the elderly in Xalapa, the state official said the health sector is prepared staff and supplies to meet this rise in respiratory diseases.

    "Fortunately we have all the resources, human and supplies to deal with, such as medicine, both cold and in areas that do not have low temperatures," he said.

    Confirmed that next week begins the implementation of the influenza vaccine, which covers various types of this disease. First vaccinated children and the elderly, because they are the most vulnerable, he said.
