The A/H1N1 vaccine is now available for all citizens all over the country, said on Wednesday Health Minister Yasmina Baddou.
As of Wednesday, December 30, citizens can go to any of the 1,258 vaccination centers nationwide to vaccinate themselves against the virus for free, said Baddou at the parliament.
The minister added that 600 mobile units have been created for the vaccination of people living in the remote areas of the Kingdom.
Launched earlier this month, the vaccination campaign has benefited 450,000 people.
Baddou also reassured that the side effects of this vaccine are normal and predictable and are not different from those that accompany any vaccine against a virus.
Up to December 30, the A/H1N1 death toll in Morocco reached 53 people and the overall number of confirmed cases reached 2,935, some 1,011 of them in schools.
