    Japanese ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki also participated in the event.

    New laboratory was established for revealing ?bird flu? virus in AR in the framework of the project.

    The ambassador getting acquainted with the measures taken in Nakhchivan Veterinary Laboratory stated that new laboratory will help to the protection of bio-environment of the region. The scale of the project is 60,827 USD. The newly-established laboratory covers 7 regions of AR.

    This is the area that "lost" an autopsy report on birds dying at a reservoir in 2005. It preceeded all the TUrkish cases.

    Kudos to Japan.

    They also funded research in INdonesia.
