Influenza indicators for E-week 17 (21 April - 27 April 2013) are as follows:
The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI remained stable at 2,699 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 17, compared to 2,688 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 16, remaining below the warning level.

The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low at 1%.
The overall prevalence of Influenza among ILI samples (n=134) in the community was 23.9% in the past 4 weeks. Of all the influenza virus isolates in March 2013, influenza A(H3N2), influenza A(H1N1-2009), and influenza B comprised 29.2%, 45.8% and 25.% respectively.

Conjunctivitis: 91
Diarrhoea: 478
Chickenpox: 14

Influenza indicators for E-week 19 (5 - 11 May 2013) are as follows:
The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI remained stable at 2,747 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 19, compared to 2,854 (over 4.5 working days) in E-week 18, remaining below the warning level.

The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low at 1%.
The overall prevalence of Influenza among ILI samples (n=162) in the community was 18.5% in the past 4 weeks. Of all the influenza virus isolates in April 2013, influenza A(H3N2), influenza A(H1N1-2009), and influenza B comprised 44.7%, 31.6% and 23.7% respectively.

Influenza indicators for E-week 20 (12 - 18 May 2013) are as follows:
The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI remained stable at 2,519 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 20, compared to 2,747 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 19, remaining below the warning level.
The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low at 1%.
The overall prevalence of Influenza among ILI samples (n=153) in the community was 25.5% in the past 4 weeks. Of all the influenza virus isolates in April 2013, influenza A(H3N2), influenza A(H1N1-2009), and influenza B comprised 44.7%, 31.6% and 23.7% respectively.
