French Polynesia confirms first swine flu case
A case of swine flu has been confirmed in French Polynesia after a young woman arrived at Papeete's airport on Friday. [ABC]

French Polynesia has confirmed its first case of swine flu in a young American woman who arrived on a flight from Los Angeles.
Tests were carried out on both her and her husband after thermo-imaging technology at Papeete's airport indicated she had an unusually high temperature.
Both have been quarantined and treated, although the man's test results returned negative.
This morning the health authorities for the French territory held a meeting and have agreed to put emergency measures in place to try to curb the spread of the infection.
Meanwhile in New Caledonia, the last of the suspected cases of swine flu identified after the visit of the Pacific Dawn, has been given the all clear.
The health department say, as a precaution, they are still monitoring a dozen people who have recently returned from Australia .
Fiji flu supplies
Fiji's Health Ministry says it now has enough Tamiflu to treat two per cent of the country's population, after the World Health Organisation donated more than 15,000 doses.
The stocks of Tamiflu - which can be used to treat influenza varieties including swine flu - arrived yesterday.
The ministry's previous Tamiflu stock which was about 500 courses.
Fiji has recorded at least six probable cases of H1N1, better known as swine flu, but all cases were declared negative after further tests.
Around the world, 66 countries have officially reported more than 19,000 cases of H1N1 infection, including 117 deaths.
