H1N1 virus blamed in death of 58-year-old woman

The Southern Nevada Health District reported today that a woman died within the past week from the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu, bringing the total number of deaths in the Las Vegas area to 38.
The woman was 58 years old with underlying health conditions, the health district said.
There have been 3,474 reported cases of H1N1 in Southern Nevada since Aug. 31, 2009.
