Increased to 811 the number of infected influenza AH1N1 in the country
The Health Ministry today confirmed 90 new cases of influenza AH1N1, of which 78 reside in Lima, Callao and 11 in a Trujillo.
The Health Ministry today confirmed 90 new cases of the New AH1N1 Influenza in the country, bringing the number of people infected so far is 811.
Of the new cases, 78 residents in Lima, Trujillo 1 and 11 in Callao, Peru, and all are receiving antiviral treatment at home.
Through a press release, Minsa reported that to date have been discharged from the 549 cases confirmed AH1N1 New Influenza in the country.
The health authority reiterated its recommendation to parents not to send their children to school showing symptoms of flu, and if present at the school, remove them immediately. And at home are advised to call Infosalud 0800-108-28 or bring them to the nearest health.
Meanwhile, according to official figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed cases to the New Influenza A H1N1 worldwide added 90 thousand 707 and 382 deaths. The cases are located in 115 countries and 12 dependent territories, as listed below...
