وبدأت فى تطبيق الكشف الطبى بواسطة أجهزة المسح الحرارية على جميع ركاب الرحلات القادمة لمصر من مختلف بلدان العالم دون تفريق مع تشديد إجراءات الحجر الصحى على الرحلات القادمة من البلدان، التى انتشر فيها الفيروس.

وأضاف أنه بعد إعلان منظمة الصحة العالمية عن ظهور أول حالة إصابة فى المملكة العربية السعودية، فإنه لن يدخل أى معتمر مصر عن طريق المطارات إلا بعد توقيع الكشف الطبى عليه بالأجهزة الحديثة ويدوياً، وإن وصل الأمر سيتم ترحيله إلى مستشفى الحميات، مستطرداً:لكن إجمالاً تراجع عدد المعتمرين خلال شهر مايو الماضى.

لافتاً إلى أنه لن يتم الاكتفاء بهذه الإجراءات، بل إن الراكب يملأ بطاقة بها كل البيانات عن مدة إقامته فى مصر ومكان الإقامة حتى تتمكن وزارة الصحة من بالتعاون مع الأجهزة المحلية من متابعة الحالات التى يمكن أن تصل للمستشفيات بعد وصولها للبلاد.
